Elf on the Shelf (En Francais)

Elf on the Shelf is kind of a big deal in schools around holiday time, and I wanted to take part in the fun. I also wanted to inspire the kids to learn French in ways that required problem solving and exploration and thinking outside the box as to where, when and how French language learning can happen! It was great for the kids and they even adorably wrote back to him in French asking him to pass messages onto Santa! I had no idea kids in Grade 5/6 still believed in things like that (or pretended to believe in order to have some fun). They were SO into it and one kid caught me a couple times with notes in ways that I did not realize would have ruined the magic! OOOPS! ha ha :D
